I admit, years ago when I first discovered him, I was a little skeptical of the validity behind the pain, emotion, and experience behind his music because let’s face it being the son of BILLIONAIRE designer, Tommy Hilfiger, is bound to have its perks. But as of now, Rich Hil is my favorite artist. Although we come from two different walks of life, I am able to relate to everything in his music-with the exception to the smoking. Rich Hil’s songs are remarkably similar to Kid Cudi’s, which probably explains why the two collaborated on a number of tracks. Both artists create an underlying sense of sorrow in their songs that is uncanny and distinguishable, making their music ideal for anybody feeling down-in-the-dumps. I highly recommend giving Rich a listen…
